Saurids are cool.
I know they’re traditionally Exodite Dragon Knights, but the sheer overwhelming number of dragon knights that have existed in Warhammer means that’s *incredibly* boring and I’d rather we got some attempt at an Aledari version of the word dragon, especially as, y’know, blatant dinosaurs

Saurids usually rely only on overwhelming numbers or sheer power to reach their goals, as they have plenty of both.

We give Jani a raptor doll as an idol in the Darkspear heritage quest.
But wouldn't that be kind of offensive? Jani's quests make it clear that raptors/ravasaurs are predators of saurids.
They probably just used it as a stand in, but I just think its funny.

we came up with two separate types of kobolds, one which are derived from dinosaurs, and one of which are their own seperate thing akin to dragons. The first we ended up calling 'Saurids' and the other are 'Half-dragons'
