ミャンマーでの大地震から1週間余りが経過しました。未だ倒壊した建物の瓦礫の除去は進んでおらず、病院の多くが機能停止ないし縮小を余儀なくされています。
4年前にクーデターで政権を奪取した軍事政権は、少数民族武装勢力の停戦宣言に呼応して3週間の停戦を宣言したものの、依然として国軍が少数民族の居住地域に対して空爆を行い、政権の地震対応を批判した者を投獄するなど残忍な抑圧を続けています。現地で活動するNGOに直接寄付したり、民主派政府NUGを支持する在日ミャンマー人の皆さんに寄付するなどして、軍事政権の懐を肥やすことなく被災者支援に充てられるようご協力を
