SaveOn conveniently escapes notice and they are ripping off people in the west so Pattison can put his name on a building and get a tax break.

It’s so frustrating. I have adjusted my shopping and now do most of it at the chain the brings in the most Canadian products. Saveon is terrible and often has so much US produce I can‘t shop there. Thrifty Foods, owned by Sobey’s sucks as well.
Do better Canadian companies!!!

Seems to me bread has gotten more expensive. Sale price now is often about what it always was. Not finding the 2 for 1 at SaveOn. "Sale" prices at Superstore seem higher on the weekends.

Have one last prescrip to pick up at Albertsons/SaveOn. When I changed docs I changed to them. Old doc gave me 90 days refills. Noticed that I was only getting 30 days. Asked why, the clerk said my doc prescribed it that way. Wrong. Asked new doc, she said no - 90.

As a Saskatchewanian and a solid co-op member and supporter I am more than a little pissed that Federated Coop can’t find non US farm produce to stock its produce grocery shelves. I go to Super Store and SaveOn and they have lots of non US produce on their shelves. Do better and you will do better!

Canada here. When we heard that SaveOn Foods owner Jim Pattison was considering selling a Virginia warehouse to ICE, there was such a huge backlash from his customers that he changed his mind. Now I and millions of others are supporting SaveOn again.
