Just another shout-out for being able to take transit up to see amazing shows at places like The Met, as well as taking it home after—another journey that will be less convenient or impossible after the cuts.

Okay... I love this community so much. Public hearing comments are often very hit or miss, but the vast majority of these comments and speakers today have been hit after hit. So many excellent points, and it's wonderful to see so much support for transit. 💖

Starting Monday, SEPTA plans to have 'ambassadors' in transit stations around Philadelphia to keep riders informed about service cutbacks. The cuts are scheduled to begin August 24 after legislators missed a midnight deadline to agree a funding deal. 6abc.com/post/septa-f...
