A short stream due to a preceding brief power outage.
On my (mostly) static G1 Laserbeak build, I got my engine vents aluminum taped with a layer of clear packing tape on top to prevent peeling.

My static G1 Laserbeak build continues.
I figured out how to start the engines...
I'm doing it as separate component that I'll add to the main body when I'm done.

I stalled on the silver engines, so I pivoted to working on the neck/head.
I left a neck opening in case I want to add LED lights for the eyes...

G1 Laserbeak is close to being free standing.
I used staws in a honeycomb shape for the legs and straws for the talons. I still need to finish the talons.
Next step will be building the neck/head...

Building a static G1 Laserbeak is progressing well--the wings are roughed out...
In lieu of not having space/ventilation for painting, I'm using coloured duct tape for colour.
