The history of Sazen collection is rather simple. Someone noticed Mr Sazen that the Topcraft studio dismantled and cels were going to be disposed of. Mr. Sazen went to the office, found a boxful of cels and purchased them at rather a low price.

5. Kariyado no Gebazakura is an 800 year-old wild cherry tree in Shizuoka, said to inspire a poem by the 26th shogunate Tokugawa Yoshinobu:

Tento kout dvora moc nefotím, ale zkusím se mrknout, sázen 2016 s průměrem kmínku 10-12cm, výška asi 4m, nyní 38cm a výška asi 10m. Na výšku fakt moc neroste. Když to srvonám s platany u našeho kostela, tak ty jsou za tu dobu 3x takové.
A kultivar Pyramidalis má byt fakt “malý” platan.

Hmm, probably wouldn't expect umami in that. There's definitely some nicer hojicha out there than Yamamotoyama from vendors that specialise in Japanese teas (Sazen comes to mind, but I don't do Japanese teas often).
