Yeah, OBD-II dongles can grab tons of information. I've had an old ScanGauge in my Jetta for ages, which gave me mpg info missing from the dashboard at the trim level I opted for many moons ago (plus an accurate speedometer—not sure why VW decided to nudge the needle too high on the gauges)
