Not an ideal spot to camp last weekend, but I ran out of light and didn’t feel comfortable navigating the rest of my trip on unknown terrain in the dark.
I pitched my trusty @tarptent.bsky.social scarp1 near the trees to stop (maybe) sliding over the edge on the sloped ice overnight. Great sunrise!

Just from my experience with Scarp ,I’d lower your Arch guy lines down to next attach point myself,do more good there I find
Plus if it’s a new scarp1 or even new to you …make sure buckles securing ends poles are all pulled good and tight …while at home
