By the time that this short was released in 1956, actors Shemp Howard, Symonia Boniface (Mrs.Norfleet), Herbert Evans (Wilkes, the butler) and Victor Travers (sleeping man hit with pie) had all passed on. #MeTVThreeStooges #SchemingSchemers

This short is made up mostly of stock footage from #VagabondLoafers, #APlumbingWeWillGo, and pie-fight scenes from #HalfWitsHoliday #MeTVThreeStooges #SchemingSchemers

#HalfWitsHoliday is a notable short, acting as a remake of their 1935 short, #HoiPolloi. It was famously remade again with Shemp Howard as #SchemingSchemers" in 1956. The plot was also heavily reworked into the 1958 short #PiesAndGuys" with Joe Besser. #MeTVThreeStooges

Remade in 1956 as #SchemingSchemers.

Contains footage from #APlumbingWeWillGo.

#MeTVThreeStooges #VagabondLoafers

Remade from #APlumbingWeWillGo, then itself remade as #SchemingSchemers #MeTVThreeStooges #VagabondLoafers

This was the last appearance of Kenneth MacDonald in a Three Stooges short, other than #SchemingSchemers, which incorporated stock footage from #VagabondLoafers. Also the one Stooges' short where he plays a good guy (a police chief). #MeTVThreeStooges #BlunderBoys
