Cnaemidophorus rhododactyla (Denis & Schiffermuller) eggs are laid on the leaf underside of R. canina; after hatching, in autumn, they transfer to the soft parts of the stem. On emergence in spring, feeds on shoots & flowerbuds.

Incurvaria praelatella (Denis & Schiffermuller). Lays eggs oh the leaf margin of F. vesca. Larva first mines then cuts out a leaf section, making a case of it. It feeds there until the leaf withers. It pupates within the case.

Ennominae: Aspitates gilvaria (Denis & Schiffermuller) Straw Belle, favours BLT, and Fairy Flax but is also found on Black Medick, Thyme, Yarrow, especially on chalk grassland and in quarries

Noctuidae: Acronictinae: Noctuidae: Acronictinae: Acronicta euphorbiae (Denis & Schiffermuller) Sweet Gale Moth. Nationally Scarce A. Although the vernacular name suggests, a moorland species using bog-myrtle, it uses several other species, inc. meadowsweet.
