District staff walked the board through a statewide ballot amendment that would change the Permanent School Fund distribution from interest/dividends to a 3‑year rolling average (about 4.5%), raising estimated statewide per‑pupil distributions from about $68 to $101. Staff projected the district's receipts would rise from $66,612 to about $98,879 under the proposal, and noted the amendment would appear on the Nov. 3 ballot.
