Comic time again with The Illustrious Q!
"Fun Fact: Tony Fleecs is the only comic artist to have drawn Tirek and Scorpan together. What makes this feat even more impressive is he drew them as both Teenagers and Adults."

Seeing Tirac & Scorpan in your art style definitely caught me by surprise, but omg they look SO GOOD! Especially Scorpan, you've really captured that weird gremlin-gargoyle vibe he has going on that I love so much 😭❤️

Like, in G1, Spike (voiced by Charlie Adler), started out being a close acquaintance to Scorpan in 'Rescue from Midnight Castle'. Scorpan, in turn, was a reluctant lackey to Tirec, whom wanted to bring forth "the night that never ends".
Scorpan was very protective of Spike, which Tirec would use

Tyrak is WAY too much for that show. I mean, even Scorpan is pretty terrifying.

it's honestly infuriating how much of my sexual awakening I owe to Scorpan specifically and Rescue At Midnight Castle in general

Watched the 80s pilot a while back and Lord Tirek threatening to behead Spike to punish Scorpan was definitely the kind of dark moment that could only come out of 80s kid's telly.

However, Scorpan had a change of heart once he befriended the ponies, and thus tried to urge Tirek to not go through with the plan.
Tirek refused, so Scorpan alerted the princesses, Tirek got sent to Tartarus, and Scorpan returned to his homeland.

I wanted to post some of my artwork related to @marthawells.com's Raksura books while I'm at it.
First up, this cute paper-cut style desktop of one of the Fell. Well, kinda. I always pictured the minor dakti subspecies as Scorpan from My Little Pony. XD

One of the stories I wrote in my post-S9 creative frenzy was what to do with these three. Chrysalis was talked down and sent to be rehabilitated at the hive, Scorpan took Tirek back to his own land, and Cozy received psychological help.

Scorpan wasn't Tirek's brother, but instead his servant. Tirek had destroyed Scorpan's hometown and turned him into a beast.

Maybe a movie version of 'Rescue at Midnight Castle' with Megan and maybe Scorpan played by actual human actors and the other characters all being CGI. That *might* work and would tick some 80s nostalgia boxes.
