And finally, here is the last magnificent loom at Scranton Lace. Imported from Nottingham, England, there were once 5 in this room. I’m told this one is now scrapped. Amazingly, a small bit of lace remained in 2016 when this was shot. Imagine the sound when they all ran! #scrantonlace #urbex #loom

More shots from Scranton Lace. The employee basketball court was another fascinating find. Imagine a business in the US today having such facilities. #urbex #scrantonlace

A couple of quiet shots from Scranton Lace

A couple more from Scranton Lace. The buildings there were clearly from different eras. Some were mid century industrial concrete, while others were brick and wood, which I assume are early 1900s. #urbex #scrantonlace

Two exterior shots from my 2016 explore of Scranton Lace. These should give some impression of the size of this facility. These are the only two exteriors I shot, since I didn’t want to be spotted on the property. #scrantonlace #urbex #abandoned

"Step Up"
The old Scranton Lace Factory in Pennsylvania. It has since been demolished with portions repurposed. It was one of my favorite explores.
