I threw in all my cards Gave you the ace of hearts, oh How was I to know You were playing the game for keeps You showed your expertise To bring a man to his knees, yeah! I need a soul revival I'm learning the art of survival Gonna break these chains The shackles you put on me Girl you proved to me That things ain't always what they seem I woke up from a dream To find the house was on fire! I need a soul revival I'm learning the art of survival Gonna break these chains The shackles you put on me I need a soul revival I'm learning the art of survival, yeah Nobody needs a reason to be free Soul revival Soul revival Soul! About Johnny Diesel & The Injectors: Formed by American-born guitarist/vocalist Johnny Diesel (born: Mark Lizotte), while he was living in Perth, Australia, Johnny Diesel and the Injectors became one of Australia's best pub rock bands of the late-1980s. Their hits included such roots-oriented tunes as "Come To Me", "Tip of My Tongue", "Man Alive" and "Never Miss Your Water". Their self-titled debut album, recorded in Memphis, Tennessee and released in March 1999, received ARIA (Australia's equivalent of the Grammys) awards as "best new talent" and for "best selling album of the year".

With a jarring, guitar-heavy sound influenced by such gritty Aussie acts as Angel City and AC/DC, Screaming Jets are causing quite a ruckus.

The Screaming Jets are proving that few Australian rock bands can bridge worlds quite like they can, announcing two very different but equally fitting live appearances that will take them from the heart of country music in Tamworth to one of Scotland's most celebrated rock festivals in 2027. The Newcastle rock veterans will begin the year by returning to The Longyard Hotel during the Tamworth Country Music Festival, marking their third consecutive appearance at the iconic venue. After selling out both their 2025 and 2026 performances, the annual pilgrimage has become something of a tradition, with fans expected to snap up tickets once again.
