ANYWAY the point of this rambling screed is this: most folks don't really think about "well, what if your parent who I don't like winds up needing long term care in twenty years how are we feeling about that as a challenge" before they get married, let alone "so this power dynamic is challenging".

I think I am totally done with people leaving negative reviews on anything. Especially something they can 100% refund. I had a disappointing sausage bap this morning that cost more than most indie games. I just got on with my life, I didn't post some aggressive or patronizing screed anywhere...

Back when I talked more often, person posted a slur-filled screed against an historical genocider. I replied that he wasn't a "monster", but just another evil human. Got accused of genocide-sympathizer, when all I'd said was he was still a human, just a well-aware evil human.
A lot of you can't stop conflating cognitive, psychiatric, & neurodevelopmental disabilities with immoral behaviour, bc it's easier to pathologize ppl for making shitty choices than it is to acknowledge we're all inherently capable (intentionally or not) of causing grave harm. You're not immune.
