Treated myself to a new fountain pen. It's a Scriveiner - #ChicagoCubs blue with silver trim and a finer point than my Cross... a quick note scribbled to show it works, but that I can be sloppy.

My main pen is a Pilot mid-level model (not sure what—a gift! I’ll have to check). I also have a super-fine nib Scriveiner. Both much heavier. I really do like the Pilots.

On Prime Day, I succumbed, and purchased 4 cheap fountain pens. This morning I inked up a Scriveiner fp with a Medium nib using Diamine Delamere Green.
The writing experience is akin to my very best pens (Visconti, Montblanc). So very smooth. Barely any feedback. Amazing for a $35-$50 pen.
