🐬 Our first shift of the NEW land-based humpback dolphin survey!

From our observation point at SeaGypsy, we are monitoring the waters around Santos Beach for Indian Ocean humpback dolphins (𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘢 𝘱𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘢), as well as other whale and dolphin species passing through the area.

An over land trip yesterday for a change, by bus to collect the repaired chart plotter from Dartmouth, with a break from a trip up and down the hills along the south Devon coast at Kingsbridge. Back to the sailing in the next couple of days 🤞

So I'm stuck in Salcombe on the south coast. My chart plotter decided to die and now I'm waiting for Raymarine to replace it. Still, there are a lot worse places in the world to be stuck!
