SDE = earnings + one working owner's full comp. EBITDA assumes management stays paid. A $950K "EBITDA" that's really SDE overstates earnings by a $150K replacement salary. Know the difference before you talk to a broker.

Owner dependency is measurable: % of revenue that touches the owner personally, % of workflows where they're the sole approver, % of top-10 accounts that are "their" relationship. Price the dependency, or inherit the problem.
