Searchmont Resort began selling season passes Monday as it prepares for the upcoming ski season. The resort says major upgrades will ensure timely openings and consistent operating hours. Summer is winding down, though last year's heavy snowfalls may leave some hoping for a longer reprieve.

Abandoned faith.

About an hour north of Sault Ste. Marie in Searchmont ON, lies St. Hobart's Catholic Church.

Most of the community is a ghost town and the Church has been abandoned for decades.
