Disabled on SS, have such a limited income, we need programs like public housing and sec8, to even make rent payments. Even with those programs, we're still stuck in roach infested, shit holes, with slumlords that don't care.

Newer high rise buildings often don't have this issue, and have multiple elevators so even if one breaks you're not fucked. These buildings are in urban areas where you're not dealing with suburban homeowner NIMBY's positing the DEBUNKED racist&classist claim Sec8 housing brings crime.
