That’s a worthless survey conducted by: “SecureSave, a provider of a financial technology platform to help employers provide emergency savings benefits.” So they are just using this to sell their product. It’s advertising not real data.

Not according to a survey last year by SecureSave (they have their own biases, so take it with a grain of salt). Their survey found 63% of American *workers* couldn't cover a $500 emergency. That doesn't even include the unemployed/retired/etc.
