Slightly ahead of the anniversary,
I’ll be remembering the three firefighters who lost their lives in the fire at RAF Neatishead on 16th February 1966.
I went through RAF West Drayton in 1987 and we learned about it on our training course.

After radio communications were lost for more than 30-minutes, the incident was reported by NATS.
I’m hoping that the QRA was launched before 30 minutes had elapsed…
