its also not just homes. its the types of homes. we have exploded housing supply of SEDUs, studios and 1BDs, but havent grown as much for 2BDs and 3BDs and have virtually not added any 4BDs. plus, jobs are regional not just in seattle. the whole area is in a massive shortage

i think another big one is that bike parking requirements for multifamily is way too low (1 space per 4 units) and furthermore seattle also doesn't exempt bicycle parking from charged FAR, except for congregate housing and SEDUs/microhousing
