There is a very sad story about this painting. A man whose daughter died at a young age commissioned Kyosai to create a painting as a memorial to his daughter.

静嘉堂文庫美術館の「たたかう仏像」展を見に行きました。ミュージアムショップに寄ったらGhost of Tsushimaに登場する彫像と同じ絵柄の絵葉書を発見。実物は海野勝珉という彫像家が製作したみたいです。
Ghost of Tsushimaには赤島の村と岡田の集落に設置されていましたが、これを思い付いた開発担当さんは教養豊かですね😊
