#SemaphoreCI
I love #semaphoreci, it’s faster than GitHub actions thanks to the common setup between jobs. It’s very easy to have a mono repo and build specific docker images based on the pushed changes… and now it can even be self hosted

Anyone doing Windows app builds with yml-configured CI? @semaphoreci @concourseci? I know @circleci @travisci dont support Win #DevOps #CICD
March 12, 2025 at 8:18 AM
why is it that every CI platform like @travisci and @semaphoreci only use ubuntu 14.04? i'm not trying to whine or anything, but...it's like 2018. and #travisci...locking comments on an issue isn't really listening to the main audience who actually _wants_ to use your service.

"How's our CI doing this week?"

Pass rate 71%. Avg run ~1 min. Slow ones: 3.5 min.

But the build itself is <30 sec. The rest is queue time. Fix: agent capacity, not the pipeline.

CI health check on demand. That's @semaphoreci

Green one run. Red the next. Same code.

Classic flake.

Asked sem-ai to find it — pulled recent runs, compared every test.

TestConcurrentRouteCache. Failing 1 in 5. Named and rated in seconds.

No log digging. That's @semaphoreci

CI went red.
I typed: "what broke? fix it."

sem-ai found a real CVE — Go crypto/x509, triggered by a dropped toolchain pin.

Pinned the patched release. Pushed. Both blocks green.

Zero log spelunking. That's @semaphoreci

No YAML.
No dashboard.
No setup wizard.

Just asked sem-ai to set up CI for a Go repo — in plain English.

Green build. First run. Done.

@semaphoreci One issue. My build settings say to use PHP version 7.0, but when I check phpinfo (on web, not cli), it shows 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.19
