Bought this old school desk at Meubles Coquet in Sempy (France) today, and another porcelain plate. The desk flips up and will house my wooden pencils, markers, paints and brushes.

We stopped at my favourite vintage store this afternoon, Meubles Coquet, where there's always a bit of treasure to be found! Sempy, France.

I found a bit of treasure this afternoon at my favourite vintage store, Meubles Coquet in Sempy, France. This will be my next clean up restoration project. I am not sure what this little suitcase box was used for, possibly toiletries, maybe jewellery. I'll have to do some research.
A very old treasure box that needs a little bit of restoring and cleaning up. It has a little key to unlock it, two small handles and looks like a small suitcase. It's decorated with circular white stones around the edges. It's made of a reddish leather. Small brass engraved shieled that is on the front of the box. It has the letters A and L engraved and beneath the letters the number 22. The open box. It has many compartments, it looks as if it may have been a toilettries box, possibly with a mirror in the back at one time.

We took a drive to Sempy this afternoon to visit our favourite vintage furniture store: Meubles Coquet! There are always new treasures to be found. France.

The wire is real though and attached to the stone wall of the house.

Browsing through one of our favourite vintage stores in France, Meubles Coquet in Sempy this afternoon! Owned and run by wonderful people and some very happy dogs! Raymond found a Thor hammer… and I walked away with an old school desk and lovely porcelain plate.
View at the floorspace of the vintage furniture and homeware warehouse from the first floor. There is a central fireplace below, pieces of furniture, vintage curiosities. A huge four metre slippery slide from the 60’s in the vintage store among all the furniture and other things. Very old wood heater from last century. Made of iron and very ornate. Raymond standing amongs a table of curiosities with something that looks like a Thor hammer in his hand.
