The goal was 1 km/s at ~50% efficiency within 1.8 m length. 6 km/s was supposedly easily achievable.

I oversee the #UNL #SchoolOfComputing #SeniorDesign program, but sometimes I'll sponsor a project. 2 yrs ago: "Running Robots" (www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSgx...). This year, "Running Robots Rerun" -- phone control (instead of RC controller), optional VR headset for bot's-eye view, more game options.
