Bert used to be a tick magnet, despite regular use of topical treatments. We lived where there were a lot of deer. I could do a topical treatment and he would be covered with ticks in 24hrs. Since using a Seresto collar, not one single tick!

Also I switched them off of Simparica and I'm doing the Seresto collars now.
I genuinely cannot fucking afford 600 a year on flea and tick treatment ALONE, not even counting other vet bills.
120 for two dogs for 8 months of preventative is MUCH more fucking manageable.
Dogs are expensive, man.

We use Credelio for Lena & a Seresto Collar. We have one of the highest levels of tick related illnesses in the country on our small Island & both Lena & I have come down with anaplasmosis. Lena's been clear of ticks since we switched. I wish they made it for humans...

Vivo numa área c/ Leishmaniose junto a uma linha de agua. O vet alertou-me e um vizinho perdeu um cão assim. P/ além disso a minha está 2x/semana numa quintarola rodeada de cães (+ pulgas e afins). Tem vacina, coleira SERESTO (cara pra xuxu), pipetas e por vezes comprimidos. + 2 gatos 🙄

I put last years Seresto collars on temporarily until I know it’s under control. They’re only supposed to be good for eight months, but they’ve been in the original cans all this time. They only wore them for a short while last year too.

Vi har brukt et som heter Seresto vet i mange år og er veldig fornøyde med det. Det er på resept, så må kontakte veterinær. Verken gamlepus eller de to nye har hatt en eneste flått så lenge de har brukt det, ikke i pelsen en gang. Setter det på i mars-ish og tar det av i oktober/november 😊

Chui tiene todas las vacunas, desparasitación interna y externa (seresto, pipetas, pirulas y demás). Con todo lo que les puede contagiar algo, más vale prevenir.

En Marzo solté los ciento y pico euros de test+vacuna. Ayer los 40€ de renovar el seresto. Y no me duele ni un poco.
