one of the small details I love about simu & the religious order that he’s apart of is that all charnel sextons bleached their hair to better resemble mottak (kereboros) ; it’s a magicked process that only needs be repeated in a ritual once a year to maintain the platinum blonde, white, or grey

Also, yeah, they did occasionally dig people up and find an unexpected baby in there. Because sometimes, sextons took pity on dumped bodies… and sometimes they went to the coroner. A very personal choice
