You know, as a fan of both franchises, I've noticed that both Shadow and Zero have much in common. Let's have a look:

Never cared about justice.
Never called themselves heroes.
Only fought for those they believed in.

Both space stations even fell out of orbit and were set on a fixed collision course towards Earth. The crises that were to follow upon impact were averted, however. Check ALT for more details!

For Ragnarok: it was Zero putting an end to Dr. Weil for good, the latter becoming one with its core beforehand. The result was the space station itself breaking apart upon entering the atmosphere and burning up as "shooting stars." There were NO survivors... For the Space Colony A. R. K.: it was both Shadow AND Sonic (in their Super forms, no less) halting its collision course in its entirety via Chaos Control. Not only that, but they even teleported the colony itself elsewhere around Earth's orbit.

I'm barely seeing any Mega Man content on my timeline, so let's fix that with more #ShadowVSZero allegations! 🧵
