I was always disappointed that they didn't give new names to these dorks. I mean, Shadowstrip & Cloudcover weren't called Dragstrip & Ramjet, so I feel like they missed out on an opportunity with these guys.
Though I do like the names Toyhax came up with for them. (Acid House IS pretty clever!)

It's still a bit strange that they tweaked Dragstrip's G2 color scheme and renamed him #Shadowstrip for the #Transformers Generations Legacy #VelocitronSpeedia500 subline, even 3 years later. But G2 Dragstrip is still a good deluxe, finally got around to picking one up!

God, lol, the promotional comic for this Takara G2 Stunticons set is 100% going to feature Drag Strip watching Hasbro Shadowstrip compete in a race and then being like, "whoa, I gotta steal that guy's look" and then adopting the more vintage-G2-accurate design from this new boxset.

What's funny to me is that three of them have been done before in Legacy
Dragstrip/Shadowstrip in Velocitron Speedia 500
Dead End in the Toxitron Collection

I know that pain! I've got a few things from years back that I missed the original window on, like G2 Universe Shadowstrip!

I'm hoping they reissue Shadowstrip / G2 Dragstrip. So frustrating having a Combiner limb being so much rarer than the others.

This is where my madness truly starts. I'm torn as to whether to try and get the G2 Takara Menasor later on in the year, or wait for Hasbro to complete the set. This will mean trying to track down the unobtainable Shadowstrip.

Went to Smyth's today and decided to treat myself to a G2 Legacy Breakdown. Since they've not released a G2 Motormaster or Wildrider and I've no chance of obtaining Shadowstrip, this is where my G2 Menasor ends.

So aftter being massively understocked by Hasbro Pulse, then massively scalped by Ebayers (and even, sadly, a legit online retailer I usually respect), Velocitron Crasher and Shadowstrip have allegedly started turning up in US discount stores. Here's hoping we see the same over in the UK soon.
