Ukrainian soldier officer_33 talks a little bit about the development of cheap interceptor drones that will be effective against jet-powered Shaheds. He says in 2 months, they will be abundant, and that it is a shame the threat of jet shaheds wasn't taken more seriously sooner.

Jet Shaheds mean less reaction time and pricier interceptors, so every save by the Presidential Brigade is a real win. But adaptation alone wont hold Kyiv forever, more Western interceptors and funding still decide this.

Wow, I guess that's a big game-changer, if Ukrainian interceptors have got so good that they can stop not just Shaheds, but Russian UAVs in general reaching targets on the battlefield. 👍👍👏

Fighter jets chasing Shaheds with scarce missiles is a budgeting failure, not a tactics problem. Cheap interceptor drones and gun pods should be eating that job while AIM-120s stay reserved for actual aircraft.

I read that the old prop shaheds didn't produce enough of a heat signature for manpads to lock onto. The jet versions produce plenty of heat and manpads have become useful again.
