Since I was a kid, I've thought that English spelling (or the alphabet) should be repaired. I recently discovered someone attempted just that in 1962 with the Shavian alphabet. Here's my Shavian take on Dr. Seuss. I hope more people try Shavian. #Shavian #𐑖𐑱𐑝𐑾𐑯

A Ladybird easy-reading book but it's all spelled very weird, eg the easy of "easy-reeding" is two strange E letters, a backwards Z, then a y.

Concept for CGs who want to make their littles feel extra small, maybe make one of those children's alphabet posters but for the Shavian alphabet. Give them children's books transcribed in it, baby blocks with the letters, make them write crayons & mittens. (1/2)
