Sherry Week continues, a Palo Cortado from Bodegas Lustau with a Tapas style spread.

Palo Cortado sits somewhere between Amontillado and Oloroso in style, a bit more salty, dry but rich and nutty, tangy acidity, and this one has some tongue drying astringency.

Sherry week is go! Kicking orf with spicy Nduja Meatballs and a very decent supermarket branded Oloroso from Bodegas Lustau.

The sherry is rich, off-dry, with less acidity than some at this price, nutty and raisiny with a lovely long almost savoury umami finish.
