So there's Sela, a generic Tal Shiar, cloak and phaser makes some tokens, and the bird of prey. But that's it so far. There's not much left in the number crunch, and there's lots to reference still. It just feels weird?

There's a fan theory about Star Trek DS9 that the Tal Shiar knew Sisko was lying about the Dominion's plans to attack Romulus, but they went along with it because they didn't like how the regular Romulan leadership was cozying up to the Dominion. I bring this up for no reason.

Okay, so the RSE government is crippled by the supernova, but the Empire's command infrastructure isn't outright destroyed.
Seems to me like a good time for some sneaky-ass Romulan shit like a hastily-organized Tal Shiar plot to destabilize the Federation and buy time for the Empire to reorganize.
