Until this point, she had only witnessed magic from others. But for the first time she is beginning to tap into it herself. A smile stretches across her face as light dances in her eyes. Krieg isn't looking at what he has conjured up, instead looking down at his daughter. His eyes have a faint glow to them as the use of aether runs through him, but his expression is soft as he smiles at the sight of Odie. When Krieg first harnessed his magic, it was a terrifying experience that left him feeling lost. He hopes to never let Odette feel afraid of it.

Before meeting, Krieg and Hale spent them relatively quiet.

Now on Krieg’s birthday, Hale tries to have all his favorite food in the house, and usually puts aside any grievances he has with Lorelei to invite her over so the siblings can celebrate

Krieg & Hale are actively athletic with routines, while Odie is athletic due to her job as a courier/helping the scions.

Krieg tries to keep a well-rounded routine, but favors arm and leg workouts for endurance since he's a very mobile caster.

Hale was in Gridania with Odette. They took shelter along with many others who lived around them. Odie doesn’t remember much, but Hale does. Even when he doesn’t want to.

Odie is smiling up at her father, a bit of mischief mixed in as she gets ready to join him for the day as he attends to his duties. Krieg is smiling softly back at her, knowing he couldn't say no even if he wanted to. A zoomed out version of the first image. Wrote both the meanings of their names and some minor detail as to certain reasons why they have the names they have. Got longer than I expected...

Krieg / Farhad: Krieg means "war", while Farhad has various meanings. "gained", "earned", "helper", also have seen "helper", "lover", "happiness", "joy". A name that carries many positive sentiments. "Krieg" as a name was simply carried over from previous games where I used the oc, when he was not nearly as fleshed out as he is now. IRL it's not even a proper name but I got it from the character of the same name from Borderlands 2. So it never fit in the world of FFXIV. However, I now hc that it is still an unusual name given by his father (as it doesn't even fit a lot of Garlean naming schemes). But, the difference in names is important to Krieg as a character. What was wanted of him / expectations of a life he was going to have vs. the kind of man he is at his core. (Farhad is also a famous character from the story "Khosrow and Shirin". Which has elements that have also inspired and impacted Krieg) Odette: "wealthy" or "prosperous". Given to her by her birth parents but a name quickly handed down from another relative, rather than one they fully sat on and chose with a lot of thought. But fit all the same as she found a rich life with her new family. Hale Oak: Hale meaning "strong" or "healthy" "good health", as well as the oak tree which is known for it's strength and durability since it is a hardwood tree. Named by his mother after the loss of her firstborn son to natural illness, his name was given to act as a prayer to Nophica and invoke good health and strength when he was born.

Hale was born on a merchant ship that was heading from Limsa to Kugane, where his parents then stayed for a couple years - before returning and getting a place of their own in Lower La Noscea. Along the cliffs of the coastline.

I think Hale and Odie would use a script font. Hale’s would still have a rigid and formal look to it, but it retains that handwritten style.
