Just a few of my most prized Battletech Minis.

Some due to rarity, memories, some for other reasons.

Sculpted by Alan "ShinyPants" Blackwell, printed and paiinted by CamoSpecs artist 1N51. It's a custom job of not only my first official Battletech miniature redesign, but of my beloved (started as a gag) Police Urbanmech, "Deputy Dawg", which would directly inspire the K9 Hero Mech for Mechwarrior Online. Undergoing many iterations, as it changed from a gag one shot campaign in 2003 or so, to eventually making a "serious" fanon version, as the Protectors of Zhi-Chiang, on the world of Hsien in the Chaos March. Combing traditional police forces with "heavy" SWAT units of Urbanmechs (and a stray Stinger), Hetzer wheeled tanks, and a mix of VTOLs, Prime Movers and Karnov transports (the latter both used to deploy the Urbanmechs, rapidly, wherever needed), as well as both battle armor and standard foot and patrol officers. A Metal (F)Atlas mini, custom painted as a memorial piece for my brother Ray. Ray himself never played battletech, but it was the Battletech Community, specifically those related to the Battletech Painting and Customs FB page, that came together to help me return to the USA to bury him and handle his estate. Autistic, and born with spinabifeda, Ray used cane style crutches when he was younger, before giving up and using strictly a chair, in later years. He also never went anywhere without his headphones, sunglasses, and usually a baseball cap over his huge Ronald McDonald red afro. Painted by Camospecs B1BFlyer. a 1986 second series sculpt of the MAD-3R Marauder, sent to me as a gift, all the way from jolly old England, by Matthew Hipkin. Painted by me in the colors of the merc unit I have ran since 1990, Damage Inc. Suffice it to say, all but irreplaceable for me. another nearly irreplicable piece. a 1987 casting of Ral Parhta's unseen Battlemaster. Gifted to me by Justin King (along with several other similarly special (to me) minis). Aside from rarity, it is also the first Battletech mini I ever bought, back in 1988 or so. (technically bought it, a Hatchetman and 2 Commandos, but the BLR was the belle of the ball. Those other 3 mechs were also among those Justin and some other folk helped me replace). Again, painted by me to mimic it's original 1989 era paintjob. But actualyl with a proper basing job, something I never bothered with back then. I don't recall if I ever hex based it, TBH.
