#Shinzon
And the hair, of course. Shinzon had to be bald just so the writers/director could be absolutely sure the audience would know he's definitely Picard's evil clone

SHINZON: Target weapons systems and shields. I don't want the Enterprise destroyed.

Star Trek: Nemesis: Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the USS Enterprise-E as they face a dangerous threat from Shinzon (Tom Hardy), a young human clone of Picard who seizes control of the Romulan Star Empire. A weak, derivative script, poor direction, weak box office, and overall a bad film.

Makes sense! Also, they worked together during the Dominion war, and Picard helped out with that whole Shinzon coup, so it would make sense there's some Romulans who start looking at the Federation in a more positive light!

Sounds like anyone else you know that you thought was just make believe?

Locarno was a Romulan clone of Paris just like Shinzon was of Picard!

You gotta watch Elim Garak's podcast "Tailor Made" if you want the truth!!!

At a guess, the Remens or Romulans might have had him somewhere to see if they could use him to attack blah blah etc, then got bored and threw him in with Shinzon?

At very least much of the setup is nonsense. Shinzon having access to B4 doesn’t make sense. Using B4 as bait to bring the Enterprise close to the Neutral Zone is wild because how can they detect a positron signal that faint that far away?

There was an old episode of the radio show Loveline that I have an archive recording of... He was the guest and spoke about a big role at that time that he almost got. It took me years to decipher that he was talking about Shinzon.

Happy to watch the officially sanctioned, reality show formatted docuseries "The Center Seat II" on the Star Trek next gen movies... But I am DISGUSTED by the omission of James Marsters originally being cast as Shinzon. Even just a mention would've been appropriate.

Wrong characters imo. I'd replace shinzon for a post dominion war Sela, give the cast more to do, tied the super weapon into the trilithium weapon soren was making in generations. Have tom hardy play B4 and so on.

55 - SHINZON (Tom Hardy)

“My voice shall echo through time, long after yours has faded to a dim memory!"

A young Tom Hardy gives a great performance as Picard’s clone whose villainous plot culminated in Data’s death (one of them anyway)

HOLY SHIT SAME

I still can't believe the Picard Clone grew up to be Bane/Eddie Brock

7. Tom Hardy, Shinzon. (Star Trek: Nemesis)

If you're going to name your movie "Nemesis," you should probably have a slightly more interesting character idea than "what if Picard... grew up evil." Tom Hardy shows glimpses of the star he'd become, though.

Oh my god this has to be right after he played Romulan Jean-Luc Picard, baby 🥲

Totally agree with you! Without Goldsmith, Shinzon has very little sympathetic about him.

…genetically identical nemeses who have absolutely nothing in common. Neither Picard nor Shinzon gains anything emotionally or tactically from opposing each other. So in a story shallow on narrative, what do we actually get? We get some pretty nice action set pieces. We have Picard tearing it up on…
