Grew up in Coventry and Brum in the late 70s and 80s and I remember racist violence, football violence, casual violence, school violence (from teachers as well as kids), unemployment, pollution, kiddy-fiddlers, the NF, "queer-bashing", "p*ki-bashing", calling disabled people "sp*z" or "joey" 🤬
