Its heavily inspired by shortmon, the model and in combination with the concept art took about four and a half hours of work. For a rigged textured model I say that spretty good. I modeled it from scratch too I didn't use one of my body bases

The bashful shortmon can't help but be a little flattered at the interest in his mouth...
And perhaps even more flattered when @tiberiusthyben.bsky.social asked to get an even closer look~ <3.
It almost definitely smells pleasantly of strawberry shortcake in there :3.

I'm starting to come around to Candlemon, it's a cutie patootie. Give me that as my Digimon partner! And yes, we are going Candlemon to Shortmon to Weddinmon to Reverse Weddinmon!

Cutemon to Shortmon to Weddinmon to Reverse Weddinmon is actually a good Digimon line now that I think about it
I know the Rookie would likely actually be Candlemon but I like Cutemon as an alternative

His name is Mari Canon! And yes they are so VERY underrated and i aim to fix that with this devilish lad~
Though technically he isn’t a Shortmon but a Tortemon, given he is based off of Black Forest Cake, or Schwarzwalder Kirschtorte
