Perhaps my one spicy opinion is that in showverse Armand/Louis/Lestat will never work without Daniel hinging them all together. That shitty old man is the glue, actually.

This is one of my biggest quibbles with the AMC showverse. Anne Rice created vampire lore that then became what inspired most vampire lore going forward and it would have been cool for the shows to have vampires who are dead during the day, who can’t eat, who can’t see or feel the sun.
One of the missed opportunities in Talamasca is being specific with the Rice vampire lore. The lore of how Anne Rice vampires work is really specific and interesting, and even with the changes to it in IWTV, Talamasca feels particularly not careful with it. So much daylight!?

I'm tbh not a big fan of DM happening in the showverse, but I do think its interesting to think about daniel ruining armands life and armand feeling so betrayed, but they only had a relationship (that dan can't even remember now) bc of brainwashing and memory manipulation anyway
