It's a newer test and Natera (manufacturer) is FLEXIBLE in helping you get a Signatera test.
My ins does not cover it but, due to my doctor, I have not had to pay for it.

You may want to look into Signatera. Saved my wife's life. Her cancer came back, and Signatera detected it before any scan could find it.

compared to prior results. Below are my historical results. The May of '23 measure was about a month after I had my 2nd colon resection and a liver tumor ablation. I was declared No Evidence of Disease after that surgery only to one month later have this test result and then shortly after (3/7)

It's designed to detect circulating cancer DNA, with the goal being an early insight to potential growth or metastasis prior to it being visible on a scan. It's generally used as a yes or no test but the quantitative measure can be (2/7)

Currently I’m fighting (with help from Rob’s doctor) to get that Signatera (cancer detecting blood test) covered by our insurance - otherwise that’s $8k every three months. Unless Natera gives us financial aid (which I have heard they typically do) then it’s $400 every three months

this is now a third line treatment. my CEA responded immediately to the Vectibix and went from 52.6 to 4.5. a normal human's CEA is 3-5 so 4.5 for me is great. Since then, Signatera has shown that my circulating cancer is higher than it was in 23 and my last CEA showed an increase from 4.5 to (9/10)

I got some good news with breast cancer test results today. It measures circulating tumor DNA and it's going down again. I also got a double rainbow out behind my house.

People are always asking why I didn’t make a go fund me last year, and it’s literally because even after NDE, you need to do 5 years of monitoring (MRI, CT scans, Signatera tests, genetic tests). Basically, every 3 months for the next 5 years it’s about $2-6k. What if the GFM needs to happen later?

People are always asking why I didn’t make a go fund me last year, and it’s literally because even after NDE, you need to do 5 years of monitoring (MRI, CT scans, Signatera tests, genetic tests). Basically, every 3 months for the next 5 years it’s about $2-6k. What if the GFM needs to happen later?
