Props to Redville Zoo for keeping Officer Andy's job open. We gave him a try but he got into the animals' fermented silage and tasered a giraffe.
We're open late Halloween so bring the kids to Redville Zoo! The security guards will be handing out candy, except for Officer Andy, who's not allowed to hand out candy.

At 30 minutes it was clear I wasn’t going to front of line before needing to pickup kid from school.

Back an hour later and after 30 minutes I’m nowhere close to where I was when I STARTED the last time.

~1.5 hours to vote in Nampa.

I haven’t spent 1.5 hrs TOTAL over last 20 years.

😒
I’ve never had to wait in line more than 3 minutes to vote.

I’m at 10 minutes and *barely* inside the door.

I am still begging someone to do Irish Gay Culchie Porn, only because years ago someone bet me I couldn't come up with something that broke Rule 35. I did. He spent a week looking.

And there better be a Massey, wellies, a silage bale and a flat cap in it, else it's not right.

As feed goes, fermented corn silage is whole stalks and cobs chopped up to eat.

For escaping, it's leaves and stalks when it's young and ears when they're mature.

A new AI model from ZALF and partners forecasts crop yields in Germany more accurately, even in drought years. For silage maize, forecasts are possible up to 70 days before harvest. It also explains which environmental factors drive the yield. 🌾

5th Viscount Ridley states that Badgers and Hedgehogs lived alongside each other for Millions of years.
That’s because we didn’t have slug pellets , countless pesticides , herbicides, insecticides , artificial grass and we didn’t make silage.
Remove the food , remove the species.

John Paul's told me he loves fiber-rich foods like hay, pasture, and silage, as they prevent digestive disorders like acidosis and bloating. It also supplies essential proteins, vitamins, and minerals that boost immunity, and the high water content in fresh grass supports his overall metabolism. 🧐😉

People are so starved for content, they'll just dive in the rotting silage to dig up some stinking shock or other.

Like when that "most influential Bluesky user" turned up the most prolific X-scrapers in the top 5 that's when I knew it was horseshit.

Lovely. We had some wood cocks overwintering in a field near us, until they ripped out the greenery and put a massive silage clamp on it. A10

Don’t mind Ian! He’s a fierce one for the silage. Always was.

Sadly not all cattle graze - grass fed can include 'zero grazing ' ( topping and feeding freshly cut grass). Even those who graze and are organic herds are very often Barnes and silage fed in winter .

Bacteria added to silage showed a 5.8% numerical drop in methane during weeks 4 to 7 of a dairy cow study. The pattern warrants further study.

I’ve also talked to people from Scandinavia who grow oats and peas together and then separate the grain after harvest.

I’ve seen it done to make silage- but it would be interesting to take it all the way to combining and see what happens.

2/2 (see post 1 for context!). I’m definitely going to be doing this more! There is a sense of freedom, not worrying about processing images afterwards. But also there is an emphasis on exposure and getting images more correct in camera. I even started […]
