There's also the problem of designing a game around a specific hardware gimmick that it limits its preservation moving forwards, with the only solutions being

A) carrying over those gimmicks for generations

B) retool the game with a certain degree of compromise (see any DS game ln a singlescreen)

Youd be suprised i find the castlevania ds trilogy more fun on a singlescreen , seeing all those other screens like the map in one corner ans the bottom screen stats on the right is actually pre cool and honestly i think ui is so lame nowadays anyways that rhis wierd as shit does it for me now
