#Singledom
I’ve just embraced singledom forever 😔

So I’m a taken man. And that is weird after 10 years of (mostly) singledom.

At the point of unemployment and singledom where I'm seriously considering getting into rally or Warhammer

On a side note: massive difference between CHOOSING childfree/singledom and 'ending up' there as these fools so misogynistically declare.

Some positivity. Right about now 2 years ago a certain Yung Kinell slid into my DMs.

We met 6 weeks later. Thus bringing my 14 years of singledom to a close.

A writer I follow whose work focuses on happy singledom while being open to relationships is rapidly getting more and more angry with men in general, which feels unhelpful. The focus should be on harvesting their souls to trap in the gems of a necklace that bestows you with infinite, terrible power.

My body count has been exceptionally high this weekend. I guess I’m hitting singledom hard 🤷🏼‍♂️

It is not helping my ego that people chatting me in my new singledom “oh you have a bit of a reputation” 😅
March 30, 2026 at 5:39 PM
Oh, so it's a protest? Lol. Carry on then, dude. Forever with that purposeful singledom.

The problem with someone swooping in and interrupting your singledom, is that it’s actually quite nice!

Dear The Internet: send teenage-appropriate tortured breakups songs, stat

I have to make my kid a playlist and all my shit is like angry fuck-you or triumphant singledom anthems, I’ve truly never had a full-on Damien Rice level of a breakup reaction

The way these dipshits peacock for the approval and applause of other equally tragic losers really should be studied.

They are CHOOSING this life of bitter resentful singledom.

Had a message to say "Get out and do stuff. Talk to strangers" re: singledom. Do people not realise single people - like people in general - ARE doing that? It's called existing? We're not all hiding under a rock and just coming out to trap beetles for lunch, that's only every SECOND Tuesday, MARY

i think im just cursed to singledom forever

Submitting a solo author paper on Valentine’s Day is peak academic singledom. Gonna hug all my publications as I cry myself to sleep tonight 🫠
Managed to push one last paper out before the semester got busy. This was a hard paper to write and I doubt it will fare well in the review process, but I like it haha! tl;dr Asian names are perceived as less gender-stereotypical than other racialized names (due to participants unfamiliarity)

lying.

Singledom, by contrast, is not hard at all. And single does not equal lonely.

It is FAR worse to married and lonely, or worse yet, married and betrayed.

"Fat Bear Week 2023 won by 128 Grazer, who embraced singledom to 'concentrate on herself' and gain weight."

Same, Grazer, same.
Fat Bear Week title awarded to female who gained weight during 'single girl summer'
A female brown bear named Grazer is voted the winner of Alaska's popular Fat Bear Week poll.

So many angry and abusive men on insta, raging at the thought of a single woman living and loving her life, instead of weeping snottily in a corner at our singledom.
They always threaten single women that we will "die alone".
Now its "I will fuck a robot if you don't lower your standards"
Lol.
lmao I love when men think this is a threat. if they think an android can replace a woman why would I want you 😭
women you better lower your standards or else i’m warning you i will become even more pathetic

i will never accept the idea of singledom for the rest of my days bc that's not what i want for me, but it is very difficult to hold on to hope right now

Smartphones appear to have accelerated the global fertility crisis -- by making social isolation and singledom more comfortable and entertaining.

AI chatbots may be nudging humanity even further in this direction

Sometimes I do a jokey little post about singledom and childlessness and people who aren't those things reply "me too!" and while I genuinely love ye, sometimes ye need to let those of us who live alone on the fringes of acceptable society herding cats and hunting men over marshy ground to have this

Singledom is not as bad as people make out
December 28, 2023 at 6:01 AM
A year ago today a certain bearded cat dad responded to a flirty reply of mine here and slid into my DMs over there (RIP).

Numbers were exchanged. And 14 years of singledom thus came to an end. 🧔🏻🐈‍⬛️😻

It's not all grim round here y'know. But don't ye go using here as Tinder. Or Bumble.

I tried to find an emoji that expressed how I felt about my memoir being on a “12 books that celebrate singledom for Valentine’s Day” list but I got nothing www.vogue.com/article/12-b...
