Turns out I was put on earth to eat Singpho cuisine.
Singpho Phalap is a rare dark #tea from #Assam, India, crafted by the indigenous #Singpho tribe. Although Turung and the other varieties of the Singpho language are mutually intelligible, Turung contains a large number of Tai-derived lexical items compared to other varieties. This is attributed to Turung speakers’ contact with speakers of the Tai-Kadai languages.
