Siobhan doesn’t have a ton of contact with her parents, since they’re all in different parts of Faerûn. But her mom and dads are happy she’s happy and has a steady, loving presence by her side, given how inconsistent her family had been in her early life.

Siobhan is so grounded that I worry she's boring, flat, or unlovable in the scope of a fantasy epic. (An anxiety core to her own story, and why she's been stuck in WIPs for months.)

Siobhan froze in the midst of hooking a pearl earring. Her voice dropped to a whisper. "Then that goes double, then! I'm not here!" "Birdie, is that you?" Teagan's ordinarily warm voice sounded tense on the other side of the door. Siobhan noticed with a pang that her mother sounded gravelly with age. Even in her moment of sympathy, Siobhan leaned out the window to eye how difficult the jump would be. Ash snapped her back with a frantic wave and a pointed jab of their head at the door. Siobhan puffed her cheeks, rolled her eyes, and resigned herself to the interruption. She plastered her face with a forced smile and opened the door. "Heyyy, Mom…"

To me, it’s a deeply romantic, thoughtful, calming color. Also, I kept gravitating towards putting Gale in deep blues and purples, and it happens those colors look great on Siobhan too.

Siobhan spends Act 1 terrified and out of her depth. She didn’t learn combat magic in school - which almost got Gale killed at the Grove.
