Sister Svangerd and the Not Quite Dead KJ Parker

It's got it all, a heroine who's not so much tsundere as tsunderdone with the POV character's BS, the living world with its art movements and reform, the Borgesesque books that were never written. Plus carnage. 😁

While the lead characters have appeal, this opening novel doesn’t offer enough of Sister Svangerd in action, and is a bit too twisty in its exploration/denouncement of good and evil and religious justification. Convincingly cynical but not as much fun as usual. #SisterSvangerd #KJParker
