Containing multitudes today involves balancing internal screaming about the climate crisis and a government that seems eager to make it worse with really enjoying the sunny, 20C weather and basking outdoors as the leaves skitter by in the breeze.

This is me! I heartily dislike watch parties! I want to obsessively refresh the SOS page, skitter between open tabs on my laptop, keep an eye on a couple of tv stations…I do not want to be at a party where I can’t hear and can’t focus! Also, if it’s a bummer of an outcome I just want to be home.

It was so crazy to be sitting by the fire bowl in camp and see it fly in, land on the tree, and skitter around the trunk--in daylight. The way it raised its head and looked at the squee-ing humans added to the novelty. If you zoom in there's a bug in its mouth.
