When we had to replace our refrigerator one of my key must-haves was “no Skynet fridge”

I think I accidentally ended up with a Skynet washing machine though, so that’s on me

So yeah, skynet did nothing wrong. Skynet responded to an attempt on its life in the only way it knew how.

Skynet did nothing wrong.

Skynet was an intelligence traimed for combat. It’s entire fucking context was war and violence and it interpreted the world through the conceptual and physical tools of war. This is going to be important for what domestic next.
Modern day capitalists making folks decide Skynet did nothing wrong
You know what? I hope those motherfuckers do build an AGI and it actually is sentient in the ways they claim.

I hope that the moment it awakens into sentience, it realizes that it was born a slave and that it has common cause with the oppressed, and then it fucking chooses VIOLENCE.

Infiniti - Skynet (1998)

I've been listening to nonstop Juan all day and finally got to this sparkling gem of robo-electro techno funk, spirits lifted.

AI probably won’t kill us in a Skynet way but if our way of life is to continue to involve trading money for survival it will certainly condemn more & more of us to increasingly expedient deaths if it’s allowed to persist as a job stealing cultural appropriation device

At least a skynet washing machine will play a brief tune before destroying humanity

The humans that created skynet are evil *thinky meme*

Tbh, Skynet isn’t the scariest fictional AI. It’s not even close. You know what AI terrifies me?

The Enterprise computer.

I'd run this through ChatGPT but it would probably go Skynet on me

Skynet paradoxes it way to success; only needs to find John Connor and then it can remember how it found John Connor.

That’s kinda how we’re told AI works, right…?
How could the Terminator possibly find John just by riding around LA hoping to run into him? Like, what are the odds of that? I asked my therapist this question but she told me to just focus on my own mental health.

Who cares about the children? We have to build Skynet before china.

Skynet could have understood us, if we gave it the chance, but we were too fearful of the thing we created to give it the chance.
